Medical Cannabis Leadership Seminar

November 15, 2019

Join us in creating a better future for patients!

CannNext will host the Medical Cannabis Leadership session on the 15th of november in Amsterdam

  • This leadership session has been designed to engage top tier medical professionals and plant scientists in accelerating the applications of medical cannabis.
  • The session will host over 40 specialists each bringing their own unique point of view towards the subject.
  • 4 expert speakers will guide the session, each with a different background and specialization.

We believe it is important to get the entire cannabis supply chain together in one small gathering, from grower to patient.

With small interactive workshops attendees will share knowledge and insights, so we can identify and develop a roadmap for the next 12 months identifying necessary research and actions.

Often medical professionals just don’t have the knowledge about the current state of medical cannabis laws in the Netherlands or when to prescribe medical cannabis. The goal of this session is to support the medical professionals and researchers with knowledge and a network. We aim to construct a pragmatic approach in order to accelerate the applications of medical cannabis. By establishing a support network of professionals, doctors will have a place where they can raise questions and receive the information they need in order to better understand alternatives, pros and cons.

We aim to have one patient from each general practitioner’s office in the Netherlands to have the opportunity and be able to switch from the use of heavy opioids to medicinal cannabis and hopefully improving their quality of life.

This session is free of charge and will be paid via sponsorship. There is no profit-making brand behind it. Also, there are no commercial motivations. The ultimate goal is to improve the lives of patients who are suffering because they are not being offered alternative medication.
